100 PREGNANT DAIRY COWS BURNED ALIVE
Prairie Post - Dairy farm destroyed; 100 milking cows killed
A sad event... a dairy farm in Canada went up in flames killing 100 or so cows - most of them pregnant. I've heard many stories about pigs being burned alive, and chickens too. What a horrible fate. Guess we can expect these kinds of "accidents" when we imprison so many living beings...
Please consider the compassionate alternative - do not burn living animals - do not "grill" flesh... Go Vegan!

I've started my vegetarian diet now (see my blog) with a dinner tonight of vegemince fajitas. It was actually a lot better than I was expecting!

Kaylie - ... I'm sorry about some of the *bad/sad* stuff - But it does have to be "seen" to be changed...
And I'm thinking all the great vegan sweets and goodies on your blog offer some fine solutions to the *distasteful* stuff mentioned here - A nice balance I'd say! :)

And that's some *powerful* stuff you're into too... trying a veg lifestyle, even a few days a week makes a world of difference to your health (the environment) and of course the animals - Good luck!
