A Healthy Diet: Got Weight, Cancer, Diabetes? Go Vegan!

So even if you're not too concerned with meat industry workers or animal welfare... What about your health? Elaine Vigneault at Vegan Soapbox was kind enough to post this video "Got Weight, Cancer, Diabetes? Go Vegan" all about the great benefits of a vegan diet:

"Elsa Perez also made the change after battling breast and thyroid cancer. She and others found it not only helped them medically, but also helped them lose weight. “Since 2 1/2 years I’ve lost 20 pounds it was hard in the beginning so I had to change my whole kitchen”. Brenda Geesy says she has seen a change in her health.”Well my husband had a heart attack and quadruple bypass surgery, I had a sister with cancer and we started looking at changing our diet big time. I have six children, been married 33 years and I actually weigh less now than when we got married”.

Like the video suggests... just give it a try for 30 days or so - you'll be amazed how much better you'll feel (and look)!

+1 to your post of course for sure :]
I'm totally jealous of your Thanksgiving. It sounds awesome!
I'm glad you had a good time!

And oh how you are right, it for sure could have been worse with a dead bird on the table :[ it'd be sad. though actually, now that I think about it, there was one at school, and also were I was. I just didn't eat with my boyfriend's dad who ate it. I didn't really even eat :P

Oh... I'm sorry for being late to comment.

But you didn't eat at all???!!! Not good... Certainly there was something you could have picked at - Vegans must eat... even if the real food is sitting next to the "other stuff"...

Hope your day was happy anyway - thanks for dropping by.
