It's Not Nobel to Lie: Dumb Down --- Drink Dairy

The dairy industry has been citing a scientific journal article as evidence that Nobel Prize Awards frequently are given to men and women from Sweden because they eat chocolate and drink more milk per capita than anywhere else in the world.
Milk drinkers win Nobel Prizes, researchers claim

The claim also is that while Sweden has won an overwhelming number of Nobel Prizes because they drink so much milk, China was awarded a total of zero because they do not drink much milk:
Nations that consume a lot of milk also tend to produce a lot of Nobel Prize winners, a letter published in Practical Neurology has suggested.
"They found that Sweden, which boasts 33 Nobel laureates per 10m population, also consumes 340kg of milk each year - the most milk per head in the world. Switzerland, which has an enviable Nobel Prize haul of 32 consumes 300kg of milk per head per year.
China, which consumes just 25kg of milk per head per year, boasts no Nobel Prize winners.
got truth? The dairy industries junk science

The truth is that in the past 5 years 63 men and women who have been awarded Nobel Prizes were from the following countries:

The United States was awarded 27 of those prizes.
Japan received 6
France received 5.
China actually was awarded 4 Nobel Prizes.
Sweden received only one.

What follows are the names of the recipients of
the awards from 2008 through 2012.

So the lie of Nobel Prize winners and dairy is exposed.

Likewise the evidence is clear that dairy consumption increases the risks of heart disease, bone disease, cancer, asthma, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, and irritable bowls. It also is responsible for the terrible "health" to cows and calves! (warning graphic)

Aside from the horrendous, vicious lies about the "care" of innocent beings for cow's milk - There are more lies from the author of this "study" that will be published in the February 1 issue of The journal Practical Neurology. The editors and peer-reviewers are clearly ignorant of the facts regarding human health as well as the unacceptable practices in the process of making cows "give" milk.

Thank you... And if you haven't already done so --- Get smart! Please, please dump dairy and all animal use as the whole lie is terribly unjust, unkind and unhealthy.

I remember back in the '70's learning that a high correlation does not imply cause and effect. Here is a quote from a paper correlating the stork population and the birth rate (i.e. storks bring babies) "Standard statistical texts routinely warn of the fallacy of mistaking correlation for causation, but the examples they provide are usually either trivial, with obvious confounders, or lack clear non-causality. The empirical relationship between the
number of stork breeding pairs and human birth rates in 17 European countries provides a non-trivial example of a correlation which is highly statistically significant, not immediately explicable and yet causally nonsensical." Storks Deliver Babies (p ˆ 0.008)

thank you for setting the record straight Bea Elliott - I was appalled at their blatant lies when i saw that article...

Wow Bea! Good work! Thank you.

Hi David! The stork/birth probabilities - Amusing stuff!

I understand the fallacy of correlation too! Sort of like a "lucky" team shirt... Statistically speaking one's team would win/loose no matter what frequency a garment was worn by a spectator.

I don't know of any animal product that is "brain food" --- In fact I'm inclined to say the opposite!

Thanks for your input that helps prove my point! ;)

I appreciate it veganelder --- But really Robert Cohen did 99% of the research... It's always easy to pass along information that discredits the carnist mentality! :)

Thank you proud womon --- I get pretty hot under the collar with their shameless propaganda lies too! I suppose we could console ourselves that this is the desperate course they must take in to stay in business. Just wish more people would question the nonsense. :/

I will definitely write!

Thanks Bobbie --- I wrote and so did a facebook friend... Neither of us have received a reply. I wouldn't hold my breath --- But appreciate your time anyway! ;)
