Colleen Patrick-Goudreau: Debunking the Myths of Veganism

While the animal industries are worried about the likes of hsus, peta and the ALF, they're passing draconian ag-gag laws in the hopes of hiding the secrets of the way they conduct their businesses.

But my take is that one of the most convincing methods that any vegan or animal rights activist has to sway a nonvegan closer to awareness is by directing them to listen to the ever-remarkable, compassionate and wise Colleen Patrick-Goudreau. Here is her most recent talk given on April 23, at the Oakland Public Library.

May Colleen and the rest of us that speak the truth always remain --- Ungagged!

Colleen is debunking and making money at the same time. Capitalism is a great economic system.

Hi D.E.M. - Being positive is a good thing! Beyond the video - outside of the web - I see it all around. People ARE starting to question and re-evaluate their choices. We just have to stay at the truth and it's bound to take hold! ;)

Thanks veganelder! Across almost any divide - Colleen's message is always well received. I love her best line about asking people to live up to their own values. It puts the responsibility for thinking (and acting) accordingly right where it belongs! Her message is empowering! ;)

Hello Karen - Believe me when I say that Compassionate Cooks and Food for Thought run on a shoe string budget. Her advocacy isn't motivated by monetary profit. I assure you.

BUT, if you care to see whose is - Take a long look at the animal industries. Everything from capturing dolphins to exterminating day old male chicks is done for a cheap dollar. You can search till eternity and you won't find anything ethical in using the lives of others for your own ends. THAT is the animal industry's entire practice in a vegan nutshell.
Good day.
